There’s a story in Luke 17:11–19 of ten lepers whom Jesus healed. Out of all ten, only one returned to say “thank you.” Jesus noticed. He asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?” Gratitude didn’t just acknowledge the miracle—it brought wholeness to the man who returned.
Gratitude is powerful because it shifts our focus. Instead of dwelling on what we lack, we begin to see God’s fingerprints in every area of our lives. Gratitude transforms trials into testimonies, burdens into blessings, and setbacks into setups for God’s glory.
When we practice gratitude, even in difficult times, we create room in our hearts for peace, joy, and faith to flourish.
