"Going a little farther, He fell with His face to the ground and prayed, 'My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.'"
— Matthew 26:39 (NIV)
In one of the most vulnerable moments of Jesus’ earthly life, we see Him in the Garden of Gethsemane—agonizing, overwhelmed, and deeply sorrowful. It’s a moment of raw humanity and complete surrender. He knew the cross was ahead. He knew betrayal, pain, and separation were coming. Still, He prayed not for escape, but for the will of the Father to be done.
