There was once a small village that faced a severe drought. The people gathered to pray for rain, but only one little boy arrived carrying an umbrella. That simple act captured the essence of true faith—expecting God to act even before seeing the results.
In Matthew 17, Jesus spoke about faith that moves mountains—not the kind that depends on size, but on trust. The disciples couldn’t heal a boy because their faith wavered when things didn’t go as expected. Jesus reminded them that even faith the size of a mustard seed, when rooted in God’s power, can move what seems unmovable.
Mountains in our lives come in many forms—fear, sickness, debt, rejection, or discouragement. But mountains bow to the voice of faith. The power isn’t in how much faith we have, but in Whom our faith is placed. When we believe God’s promises over our problems, we activate heaven’s authority on earth.
