The Great Commission – Matthew 28:19-20
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." — Matthew 28:19 (ESV)
After His resurrection, Jesus didn’t tell His disciples to sit still and enjoy salvation privately—He sent them out with a mission. The Great Commission wasn’t a suggestion, it was a divine mandate. Jesus gave His followers a clear instruction: go, make disciples, teach, and baptize. This call is not limited to pastors, missionaries, or evangelists—it's for every believer, every family, and yes, every parent.
In our homes, workplaces, and communities, we carry the light of Christ. As godly parents, the Great Commission starts right at the dinner table—sharing stories of faith, teaching God’s Word, living by example. Our children learn what it means to be disciples not just by what we say, but by how we live. They will go and tell when they’ve seen us go and live.
In a world focused on influence and algorithms, God calls us to impact souls for eternity. The Commission isn’t about performance—it’s about obedience.
